UnitedHealth: raises FY targets
(CercleFinance.com) - On the back of a better-than-expected third quarter and confident for the rest of 2019, UnitedHealth Group has raised its FY adjusted EPS target range, now expecting between 14.
90 dollars and 15 dollars, compared to 14.70-14.90 dollars previously.
The US insurance and health services giant says it has posted adjusted EPS that is up 13.8% at 3.88 dollars over the past quarter, thereby exceeding the consensus by 12 cents.
The group increased its operating profit by 9% to 5 billion dollars, on revenues that are up 6.7% at 60.4 billion dollars, driven by double-digit growth at Optum, its service subsidiary.
