UnitedHealth: Q4 above expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - Unveiled on Tuesday before Wall Street opens, UnitedHealth's Q4 accounts were better than expected.
The US health insurance specialist posted EPS of 3.65 dollars over the period, against 1.74 dollar a year earlier. Adjusted EPS reached 2.59 dollars, 8 cents higher than expected by the consensus.
Meanwhile, revenues increased from 47.54 billion to 52.06 billion dollars. Analysts were also less confident here as well, anticipating revenues to rise to 51.54 billion dollars.
