UPS: Q2 EPS above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - UPS has posted Q2 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 1% at 1.
96 dollar, beating the consensus by three cents, with the group confirming that expects a FY 2019 figure of between 7.45 dollars and 7.75 dollars.

At just over 18 billion dollars, the logistician's revenues increased by 3.4%, with gains in average daily volumes in the United States and better quality international revenues, excluding FX effects.

Group transformation initiatives are generating greater efficiencies within its network and, by combining them with its growth strategies, UPS has seen earnings grow in all segments, CEO David Abney said.
