UPS: slightly beats consensus in 2nd quarter

(CercleFinance.com) - For Q2 2018, UPS posts an EPS up 23% to 1.
94 dollars, in data adjusted for a charge linked to a voluntary retirement plan, an EPS exceeding average estimates of analysts by one cent.

The Atlanta Group's revenue, at 17.5 billion dollars, increased by 9.6% with average returns up 4.6%. Only taking into account domestic activity in the United States, it saw its revenue increase by 6.3% thanks to e-commerce.

For the entire year, UPS confirms its forecast of adjusted EPS between 7.03 and 7.37 dollars, and now expects free cash-flow to come out in the upper regions of its previous range, which was 4.5 to 5 billion dollars.
