UPS: appoints new COO
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday UPS announced the appointment of Jim Barber as Chief Operating Officer (COO), with him responsible for small parcel, freight, logistics chain, freight forwarding and engineering.
President of UPS International since 2013, Jim Barber has led the group's growing investment in emerging markets, particularly so as to seize opportunities in south-south trade in the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East and Africa.
In addition, UPS reports Nando Cesarone's appointment as head of all international activities. Since 2015 he has been the president of its activities in Europe, which is UPS' largest region outside the US.
