Net profit over Q4 reached 222 million dollars, representing EPS of 0.27 dollar (compared with 119 million dollars and EPS of 0.15 dollar a year ago).
FY revenue rose by 7% to 3.72 billion dollars. However, Twitter made a net loss of 1.14 billion dollars in 2020, compared with a profit of 1.47 billion dollars a year earlier.
The social network plans to increase its workforce by over 20% in 2021, particularly in engineering, products, design and research, it said.
It expects total revenues to grow faster than expenses in 2021, which targets total revenues of 940 million to 1.04 billion dollars in Q1 2021
