Tiffany: LVMH confirms it is in talks
(CercleFinance.com) - Following recent market rumours, LVMH confirms that it has begun preliminary discussions regarding a possible deal with Tiffany, while stating that, at this stage there is no certainty that the companies will be able to reach an agreement.
If LVMH managed to take over Tiffany, it would become a more serious competitor with the Swiss luxury group Richemont, which is specialised in jewelery and watches, Aurel BGC reacts, also pointing to LVMH's desire to strengthen its presence in the US.
