Tiffany: raises dividend by 10%
(CercleFinance.com) - The jeweler Tiffany has announced that its board of directors has decided to raise its quarterly dividend by 10% to 55 cents per share.
It will be paid on 10 July for shareholders registered on 20 June.
Our strong balance sheet enables us to continue to invest in the growth of our business while redistributing cash to shareholders - this is our 17th dividend increase in 10 years, said CEO Alessandro Bogliolo.
For the record, the day before Tiffany reported Q1 earnings that were up 53% at 142 million dollars, or 1.14 dollar per share, with EPS that beat the consensus by about thirty cents.
