Tesla: Cybertruck now reaches 250,000 orders
(CercleFinance.com) - Electric car company Tesla has received 250,000 orders for its upcoming Cybertruck in less than a week, its CEO Elon Musk suggested in a tweet on Wednesday.
The number of orders broke the 146,000 mark less than two days after the vehicle's launch event last Thursday, and exceeded the 200,000 threshold earlier this week.
Now, after less than a week, 250,000 reservations have been made, which represents close to 10 billion dollars in future sales, based on its official retail price (39,900 dollars).
