Tesla: 200,000 orders received for new Cybetruck
(CercleFinance.com) - Electric car manufacturer Tesla has already received 200,000 orders for its latest model, the Cybetruck pickup truck, its CEO said on Sunday.
Previously, on its Twitter account on Saturday, Elon Musk had said that the company had received 146,000 orders so far, with the majority being for higher engine specifications (dual and tri motors).
Despite these encouraging figures, the Street does not yet seem to be convinced, with one analyst today wondering, "Is it a hoax or a visionary move?"
Even so, its shares are up slightly on Monday, gaining 2.7% at 342.7 dollars in early morning trading.
