Tesla: new chairperson for board of directors
(CercleFinance.com) - Tesla has found a new chair for its board of directors - a woman, who will take over the role that to date was carried out by the group's founder Elon Musk, until he was forced to step down last month, after a deal with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), the US financial regulator.
Robyn Denholm, who is currently the CFO and head of strategy at the Australian telecom operator Telstra, Ms. Denholm will take the role of chair of the US electric car maker "with immediate effect". However, her appointment will only be effective after six months after her notice period binding her to Telstra.
