Tesla: new securities class action has been filed
(CercleFinance.com) - A New York investor rights law firm said that a new securities class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of investors who bought Tesla shares after Elon Musk's infamous tweets last week.
Bernstein Liebhard said the lawsuit expands the class period asserted in recent lawsuits filed against the company, from 7 August to 14 August.
The class action seeks to recover Tesla shareholders' investment losses after Musk tweeted that he was "excited to work with Silver Lake and Goldman Sachs," while press reports stated that neither Goldman or Silver Lake had yet been hired by him, the company said.
