Tesla: Model 3 off to difficult start.
(CercleFinance.com) - Announced as the future "blockbuster" of the Californian manufacturer of electric cars, the Tesla 3 is having trouble to convince drivers.
According to the latest figures provided by the manufacturer, only 220 of this opus were delivered over third quarter - far from the 1,500 originally announced.
Tesla delivered a total of 26,150 vehicles over the period, including 14,065 Model S and 11,865 Model X. This represents a 4.5% increase in deliveries, although they are almost exclusively due to older models.
The group forecasts 100,000 deliveries of Model S and X over the year, would represent an increase of 31% compared to 2016.
