This deal will reinforce the Californian manufacturer of electrical cars' balance sheet, which recently unveiled its model 3, a vehicle that is more affordable than its predecessors.
Last week the group reported a Q2 loss of 336.4 million dollars, compared with a previous loss of 293.2 million dollars a year ago, although it also announced a 53% leap in its revenues to 2.79 billion dollars. The group's cash remains above 3 billion dollars.
