Target: Disney corners to feature in stores
(CercleFinance.com) - US retailer Target announced on Monday that it will set up areas that are entirely dedicated to Disney products within its stores, by the end-of-year holiday season.
These "corners" will first be installed in 25 of the discount brand's outlets from 4 October, before being developed in 40 other stores by October 2020.
These areas - to be operated by Target - will offer over 450 Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars branded items, of which about 100 were previously only available through the Disney network.
They will be launched before the releases of "The Snow Queen 2" and "Star Wars, Episode IX: The Ascension of Skywalker".
With an average surface area of 70 m2, these shops-in-shops will be set up between the toys and children's clothing departments of Target supermarkets.
