Target: recruits two new executives for food and beverage.
(CercleFinance.com) - US discount retailer Target has said that it has appointed two former managers from Walmart and General Mills to strenghten its food and beverage segments.
Formerly from retail giant Walmart, Mark Kenny will join as vice president divisional, meat and fresh prepared food, where he will oversee the meat, seafood, deli, bakery and prepared food categories, with the latter business growing rapidly in the US.
Liz Nordlie - who spent 20 years at General Mills - will join as vice president, product design and development for food and beverage.
Kenny and Nordlie will join Target later this month.
