Red Hat: beats consensus in Q1

e. 72 cents per share, outperforming the consensus by four cents.
The Open Source software publisher increased revenues by 20% to 814 million dollars (+17% at constant exchange rates), including a 37% rise in subscription revenues for application development and other emerging technologies.
For the coming full-year, Red Hat expects adjusted EPS of between 3.44 dollars to 3.48 dollars, with revenues of 3.375 billion to 3.410 billion dollars. In addition, its board has decided to make a 1 billion dollar share buyback program.
