Red Hat: beats consensus in Q2.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Red Hat Q2 adjusted (non-GAAP) net income that was up 37% at 138 million dollars, or 77 cents per share, while analysts on average were expecting 10 cents less.


The open source software publisher increased its quarterly revenues by 21% to 723 million dollars, including a 44% increase in revenue from application development subscriptions and other emerging technologies, which reached 150 million dollars.

For the current year, the Raleigh, North Carolina-based group said it expects adjusted EPS of between 2.77 dollars and 2.79 dollars, in addition to revenues of approximately 2,880 million to 2,895 million dollars.
