Qualcomm: Q3 EPS above expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday night Qualcomm unveiled Q3 2018-19 adjusted net income that is down 34% y-o-y at 1 billion dollars, i.
e. 80 cents per share, five cents above the consensus.
Still in non-GAAP data, the Californian wireless technology group saw its operating profit fall 13% to 1.2 billion dollars, on revenues that fell in similar proportions to 4.9 billion dollars, with lower demand for 4G devices.
For the current quarter, Qualcomm expects adjusted EPS of between 65 cents and 75 cents, compared to 89 cents a year ago, with adjusted revenues of between 4.3 billion and 5.1 billion dollars, against 5.8 billion dollars in Q4 2017-18.
