Qualcomm: settles litigation with Apple, signs license deal
(CercleFinance.com) - Qualcomm said late on Tuesday that it has signed a license agreement with Apple in a deal that cancels all litigation between both companies.
The six-year license agreement, effective as of 1 April 2019, includes a two-year extension option, and a multiyear chipset supply agreement, the companies said.
Qualcomm did not specify how much it would earn from the deal, although its shares leapt 23% on this news yesterday.
