Qualcomm: Q4 exceeds consensus
(CercleFinance.com) - Released yesterday after Wall Street closed, Qualcomm's Q4 results exceeded expectations, although were down year-on-year.
In non-Gaap terms, although the specialist in the design of telecom solutions saw its revenues and earnings fall by 2%, from 6 billion to 5.8 billion dollars and 1.4 billion to 1.3 billion dollars respectively, its
EPS reached 90 cents - 8 cents above the consensus.
Over the full year, Qualcomm's revenues fell from 23.2 billion to 22.7 billion dollars. Net income fell more sharply (-15% to 5.4 billion dollars), as did EPS (-14% to 3.69 dollars).
Regarding Q1 2019, Qualcomm says that it is looking for EPS of between 1.05 dollar and 1.15 dollar, with revenues between 4.5 billion and 5.3 billion dollars.
