Qualcomm: Seoul High Court denies appeal in KFTC case.
(CercleFinance.com) - The Seoul High Court has denied Qualcomm application to appeal against a decision by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC), citing "absence of irreparable harm," the US firm said on Tuesday.
In December, the Korea Fair Trade Commission said that Qualcomm's patent licensing methods violated fair competition laws and fined the company around 900 million dollars.
Qualcomm said it now plans to file an immediate appeal of the decision to the Korea Supreme Court.
