Pfizer: will deliver nearly 6 million PAXLOVID treatments
(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer today announced an agreement to supply up to six million of its oral COVID-19 treatment, PAXLOVID to the Global Fund.
Treatments will be available for purchase by 132 Global Fund-eligible low- and middle-income countries in all regions of the world from 2022, subject to local regulatory approval or clearance.
Through the Global Fund framework and mechanism, all low and lower middle income countries will pay a non-profit price while upper middle income countries will pay the price defined in Pfizer's tiered pricing approach.
