Pfizer: research collaboration with AI startup
(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer has entered into a research collaboration with AI startup Insilico, under which the drugmaker will use Insilico's machine learning technology to identify potential therapeutic targets.
The US health giant said that the move will help to identify biomarkers that could assist in discovery programs, and potentially lead to therapeutics for unmet medical needs.
Insilico - which recently secured 37 million dollars in funding - focuses on generative models and other modern machine learning techniques for the generation of new molecular structures and biological data, as well as for the prediction of outcomes of clinical trials.
