PepsiCo: Q2 beats consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - PepsiCo has reported Q2 2018 (to mid-June) adjusted EPS of 1.
61 dollar, up 7% excluding FX factors (+8% as reported), nine cents above the consensus.

The agri-food group's net sales, whose brands include Pepsi, Lays crisps and Quaker cereals, rose by 2.6% in organic terms (+2.4% as reported), reaching almost 16.1 dollars.

“The majority of our businesses performed very well, particularly our international divisions propelled by continued growth in developing and emerging markets,” said CEO Indra Nooyi.
