Palantir: contract renewed in Australia
(CercleFinance.com) - Palantir announced on Friday that it has renewed its contract with the Australian Centre for Transaction Reporting and Analysis (Austrac), for which the US company helps process financial data in its criminal investigations.
Since 2017, Palantir has been helping Austrac optimise the use of data to combat money laundering, terrorist financing and other serious crime.
Austrac uses Palantir's Gotham and Foundry software platforms to integrate and merge large-scale data across its organisation, enabling it to optimise its decision making.
