Oracle: Q1 EPS flat

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday evening Oracle reported adjusted Q1 2022-23EPS of $1.
03, which is flat as reported, but up 8% at constant exchange rates, despite an adjusted operating margin that fell to 39% from 45% a year earlier.

The software company's revenues rose 23% to 11.44 billion dollars, 200 million dollars above the group's forecast, in particular driven by a 50% jump in cloud revenues (IaaS and SaaS).

Management said that as the cloud becomes an increasingly important part of its total revenue, it expects organic growth at constant exchange rates to reach double digits, with a corresponding increase in EPS.
