Oracle: agreement with TIM on multi-cloud in Italy
(CercleFinance.com) - Oracle today announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement with TIM (Telecom Italia) and Noovle (TIM Group's cloud company) as part of a plan to deploy multi-cloud services for businesses and public sector organisations in Italy.
TIM Group plans to use advanced cloud infrastructure technologies to support Italy's digital modernisation and establish itself, through Noovle, as the market reference for enterprise multi-cloud services in the country.
As part of the deal, Oracle will contribute its next generation cloud infrastructure. Oracle's hybrid and multi-cloud strategy also closely matches TIM Group's objectives, by ensuring that all customer data will be hosted in the country and that customers will have a cloud solution that meets their data sovereignty needs.
