Oracle: Q2 EPS just beats expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening Oracle unveiled Q2 2019-20 adjusted EPS that is up 12% at 90 cents, just above the consensus of 88 cents, while non-GAAP operating income rose by four billion dollars, meaning a non-GAAP operating margin of 42%.


The enterprise software publisher's revenue inched up 1% to 9.6 billion dollars (both as reported and in local currencies), with "another strong quarter in our Fusion and NetSuite cloud applications businesses".

For its Q3, Oracle says that it expects adjusted EPS of between 96 cents and 98 cents. For the current fiscal year, it restates that it forecasts growth of adjusted EPS of at least 10% at constant exchange rates.
