Oracle: announces new share buybacks
(CercleFinance.com) - Oracle said late on Friday that its board had authorized the repurchase of up to another 12 billion dollars worth of common stock under an existing share repurchase program.
The stock repurchase authorization does not have an expiry date and the pace of repurchases will depend on factors such as Oracle's share price and economic and market conditions, the US corporate software maker said.
The stock repurchase program may also be accelerated, suspended, delayed or discontinued at any time, Oracle said.
