Office Depot: quarterly results above expectations.
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Office Depot reported quarterly results that were above analysts' expectations.
The office supply specialist saw its Q3 EPS fall by 18 cents year-on-year to 17 cents. Excluding extraordinary items, its EPS still reached 19 cents, 6 cents above the consensus.
Revenue was slightly lower than expected at 2.62 billion dollars, after 2.84 billion dollars, while the consensus was expecting 2.61 billion dollars.
