Northrop Grumman: acquisition of Orbital ATK.
(CercleFinance.com) - Northrop Grumman today announced a definitive agreement to acquire Orbital ATK for a total of 9.
2 billion dollars, including 7.8 billion dollars in cash and 1.4 billion dollars in assumption of net debt.
The defense group expects the transaction to have a positive impact on EPS and free cash flow per share in the first full year after completion, generating annualised pre-tax cost synergies of 150 dollars million towards 2020.
The acquisition would bring Northrop Grumman's combined revenues to 29.5 billion or 30 billion dollars on a pro-forma basis 2017 basis. It plans to make the acquired company its fourth business line for a smooth transition.
