Nike: former Eli Lilly CEO to retire from board
(CercleFinance.com) - Nike said on Wednesday that John Lechleiter, the former CEO of US drugmaker Eli Lilly, has decided to retire from the board, due to scheduling conflicts with other boards on which he also serves at present.
Lechleiter, who has been a director since 2009, will not stand for re-election to the board of directors at the group's 30 September AGM, the athletic apparel maker said.
Besides Nike, Lechleiter is also a board member of US auto giant Ford.
