Nike: Chicago financier joins board of directors
(CercleFinance.com) - Nike has appointed John Rogers, the founder and chairman of Chicago-based investment firm Ariel Investments, on its board of directors.
Mark Parker, Nike's CEO, said Rogers, 60, will bring his "financial expertise" as the sports gear maker is moving into its "next phase of accelerated growth."
Rogers founded Ariel Investments in 1983, focusing on undervalued small and medium-sized companies.
