Nike: buys Israeli computer vision firm in digital push
(CercleFinance.com) - Nike has bought the Tel Aviv, Israel-based computer vision and artificial intelligence company Invertex for an undisclosed amount, the group said on Tuesday.
The world's biggest athletic shoe and clothing maker said the acquisition will strengthen its digital technology as part of its recent initiative to target consumers more directly.
The new team will focus on building innovations, Nike said.
