1 billion dollars for its third fiscal quarter, weighed down by considerable writedowns, essentially linked to the merger of Foxtel and Fox Sports Australia which finalised last month.
The media and publishing group sustained net losses of 1.94 dollars per share, but in data adjusted for exceptional items, it pulled in an EPS of six cents, in line with consensus, compared with seven cents last year.
Its EBITDA for the segments contracted 15% to 182 million dollars for revenue growth of 6% to 2.1 billion, spurred in particular by a 27% hike in revenues in its digital real-estate services unit.
