Netflix: acquires video game developer
(CercleFinance.com) - Netflix officially announced the acquisition of video game developer Night School Studio, which created the Oxenfree franchise, while not disclosing the financial terms of the deal.
Founded by Sean Krankel and Adam Hines in 2014, Night School Studio made a name for itself with its first production, Oxenfree, billed as a "supernatural teen thriller".

The Californian group - which says it is in the process of laying the groundwork for its video game platform - says its productions, including films and original series, will be offered as part of its subscription, without ads or surcharges.
