Netflix: UBS raises target price; maintains 'buy' rating.
(CercleFinance.com) - UBS has raised its target price on Netflix from 225 dollars to 237 dollars, due to the company's acceleration in growth, while maintaining a "buy" rating on the stock.
"We continue to believe that Netflix's dramatic lead in scale and execution are underappreciated relative to competition and content concerns," the broker writes in a research report.
UBS adds that video-on-demand is still a "nascent" marketplace in the US, where streaming is less than 30% of video consumption, while the percentage is significantly less overseas.
