Netflix: multi-year deal with Glee's creator Ryan Murphy
(CercleFinance.com) - Netflix has entered into a multi-year deal with director and writer Ryan Murphy and his production company to exclusively produce new series and films, as from this year.
Ryan Murphy's new original series, "Ratched" and "The Politician," will premiere globally on Netflix.
Murphy also oversees production on other creations, such as "American Crime Story" and "American Horror Story," Netflix said.
Murphy created the television drama "Nip/Tuck," which ran for six seasons on FX, and also ran the popular musical show "Glee", which aired on Fox.
