Mondelez: plans 5 million dollar expansion of Polish center
(CercleFinance.com) - US food giant Mondelez International said Tuesday it plans to spend 5 million dollars to expand a technical center in Wroclaw, Poland.
Only 1.5 years after the center opening, the company will expand the plant's research and development activities beyond chocolate and bakery and serve gum and candy innovation, it said.
The state-of-the-art facility - which benefitted from an initial 17 million dollars investment - will now serve as a R&D hub for several iconic brands, such as Oreo, Cadbury, Trident, and Stimorol, Mondelez said.
