Mondelez: confirms its targets and expectations for 2018/19
(CercleFinance.com) - At a meeting with analysts and investors in Boston the Mondelez Group presented its new long-term strategy, confirmed its targets for 2018 and gave its outlook for 2019.
Indeed, the US agri-food multinational has identified three new strategic priorities: accelerating consumer-driven growth, implementing operational excellence and creating a pro-growth internal culture.
For 2018, Mondelez has also confirmed organic sales growth towards the top of a range of 1% to 2%. In addition, it now expects to make share repurchases amounting to approximately 2 billion dollars.
Finally, in 2019, the company expects revenue to grow by 2% to 3% in organic terms, with adjusted EPS up by 3% to 5% (at constant exchange rates).
