Mondelez: names former Danone executive in marketing

(CercleFinance.com) - Mondelez International said on Thursday it has named Martin Renaud, Danone's former head of fresh dairy products for Europe, as chief marketing officer.


In his position, the 50-year old marketer will be responsible for brands such as Oreo and belVita biscuits; Cadbury dairy milk and Milka chocolates; and Trident gum.

He will oversee brand strategy and agency relations, marketing capability as well as media and digital, Mondelez said.

The maker of Oreo cookies said it is making incremental investments in marketing, and creating four new regional chief Marketing officer roles to bolster leadership and accelerate execution.
