Mondelez: opens new R&D center in Singapore
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Mondelez International unveiled its newest technical center in Jurong, Singapore, which will be responsible for research and development activities for brands such as Trident, Cadbury and Oreo.
The center is part of the company's previously announced 65 million dollar investment in nine fully equipped and technologically advanced R&D hubs.
The Singapore center - that will be home to up to 75 development scientists and engineers - joins five other Mondelez technical centers in New Jersey, Brazil, the UK and Poland.
Other plants in India, Mexico and China are expected to open in 2018 and 2019.
