Microsoft: buys e-sport platform Smash.gg

gg, an e-sports platform designed for both amateur and professional tournament organizers, the latter said on Thursday.
In a brief statement posted on its Website, Smash.gg said it will continue as a self-service platform available for tournament organizers from all game communities.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
