Microsoft: announces acquisition of jClarity
(CercleFinance.com) - Via its official blog Microsoft has announced the acquisition of jClarity, a start-up specialising in Java development.
As the primary contributor to the AdoptOpenJDK project, jClarity will enable Microsoft to improve the performance of Java workloads on Azure, its "in-house" cloud computing service. Based in London, jClarity was created in 2012.
Microsoft did not disclose the terms of the deal.
