Merck: launches mobile app for diabetes patients
(CercleFinance.com) - Merck and Healthy Interactions have launched a digital platform and mobile application in the US to help facilitate communications between diabetes patients and educators, the companies said on Monday.
The app will feature video-chat, as well as weekly digital activities to sustain patient engagement. Patients may also choose to log health information that their educators are able to review and respond to.
The technology has been developed as an extension of the education initiative, which is aimed at diabetes educators that Merck and Healthy Interactions together launched in 2017.
