McDonald's: beats consensus in Q1

The American fast food giant's adjusted EPS reached 1.79 dollar, 12 cents above the consensus.
Meanwhile, revenues were less than expected at 5.14 billion dollars, compared to 5.68 billion dollars a year ago and 4.97 billion dollars expected by the consensus. Same-store sales increased by 5.5%, while the market was expecting less at 3.7%.
