McDonald's: beats consensus in Q4
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday before Wall Street opened McDonald's reported Q4 EPS of 87 cents, down 57 cents year-on-year.
Excluding extraordinary items, the US fast food giant's EPS reached 1.71 dollar, 12 cents higher than the consensus.
Meanwhile, revenues fell by less than expected, dropping from 6.03 billion dollars to 5.34 billion dollars, while on average analysts were expecting 5.23 billion dollars.
McDonald's plans to open 1,000 new restaurants in 2018.
