Mattel: Steve Totzke promoted to chief commercial officer
(CercleFinance.com) - Steve Totzke, an expert in sales and marketing, will become Mattel's chief commercial officer, the US toymaker said on Thursday.
The company announced Totzke's promotion, ahead of a new, unified global commercial organization, effective immediately.
"Over the past several months, we have been executing our strategy to restore Mattel to its position as a high-performing toy company," said Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz.
"With the alignment of all global commercial operations under Steve, we have the leadership structure required to succeed," he said.
Totzke has held several roles with Mattel over the course of nearly 20 years, in areas including sales, marketing and business operations. He most recently served as chief commercial officer for North America.
