Mastercard: expands partnership with PayPal.
(CercleFinance.com) - Credit card company Mastercard said on Thursday that it has expanded its longstanding partnership with digital payment specialist PayPal into Canada, Europe, Latin America, as well as the Caribbean, Middle East and Africa.
The deal is intended to make Mastercard a "clear payment option" within PayPal across the globe, the US company said.
"With the addition of these markets - and following the recent expansion of their partnership into the US and Asia Pacific - Mastercard and PayPal have now reached a global agreement," Mastercard said.
